Beginners are welcome
to join our classes. We recommend you start
with either a Gentle Yoga or Level 1 class.
Studio mats are available for your use. Beginner yoga class series are often taught January, February, and September. Check the schedule.
Classic Rock Yoga:
Practice to a variety of classic rock music.
This flow style class emphasizes fun while celebrating the joy of yoga through fluid movement and connection to the breath. This class is typically offered in the summer.
The focus of Gentle yoga is on
relaxation, stress reduction, and light stretching.
This class is for any student who wishes to move at
a slower pace and is appropriate for students with
limitations of the wrist, knee, hip or back. It
includes breathing exercises, restorative poses.
Happy Hour Yoga:
A playful and energetic level 2-3 vinyasa yoga class with music and laughs. Happy Hour Price $5.
Hot Vinyasa: Classes are held in a heated
room. You will build strength, improve balance
and felxibility and release toxins as you relieve
stress. Come to class hydrated. Bring a
towel (or two) in hand and your own yoga mat and
water. Hot Vinyasa welcomes all levels of

Experience the practice of Bhakti yoga through devotional chanting.
This very ancient practice is a call and response form of chanting
in the Indian tradition. It can be thought of as vocal meditation.
Everyone is welcome
No previous experience is needed and words to the chants are provided. We use
recorded music from popular artist.
Kundalini: Over the course of four weeks, sesveral of the most basic (and popular) techniques and practices of Kundalini yoga will be covered. Each class will be different and complete in itself, but all will include a pranayama practice, a set of exercises, a meditation (usually including mantra), and a relaxation with the gong. Suitable for all levels and no experience necessary (but a sense of humor is helpful…). If you have ever wondered about Kundalini Yoga, the largest unified yogic system in the world, want to experience it for yourself and get your questions answered (such as, “what’s with the turbans and the white clothes?”), this is your chance!
Level 1: The poses in Level 1 classes build a
solid foundation of strength, flexibility and an
understanding of hatha yoga. This class is ideal for
those new to yoga or returning to yoga after a long
sabbatical. The class includes all of the basic
standing poses, hip openers, forward bends, gentle
back bends and twists.
Level 2: A deeper awareness of the basic
poses is created as confidence and endurance both
grow. This level of class explores more challenging
poses and incorporates preparation poses for arm
balances, inversions and backbends. This class
encourages you to grow in your yoga practice in a
safe and supportive environment.
Level 3: This class is for experienced
students who have a dedicated yoga practice.
Participants in this class can kick up into
handstand at the wall and push up into back bend in
the center of the room. Arm balances, inversions,
and advanced options for basic poses are included.
It helps to have a sense of humor in Level 3
Mindful and Mellow:
Explore a meditative practice that thematically weaves posture, breath, focus, meditation and
philosophy into a transformative yoga experience.
This is a great class for beginners.
Mixed Level Yoga: Yoga students of level 1, 2 & 3 are
invited to get join together for a class experience.
Poses are taught in a layer technique so that each student is able to work to their level.
Restorative Yoga:Appropriate for anyone desiring a very gentle class.
Designed to balance fast paced lifestyles with deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation using the aid of props,
breathing practices and guided meditations to allow the body to experience passive stretching and renewal. Offered periodically.
Slow Flow Yoga: This mixed level class
is a fluid practice of flowing poses without
rushing. Mindfulness of movement is emphasized
by linking dynamic movement with breathing. A
full spectrum of poses are explored in this slow
vinyasa that allows time to experience the depth of
each pose. Build strength, flexibility, and
body awareness as you flow.
The Practice: A gathering of intermediate/advanced yogi’s who want to practice together in a supportive and non-competative environment. Every week will include time for inversions (headstand, handstand, forearm balance) plus time to focus on a particular arm balance or back bend. Each class will be tailored to the requests of those in attendance. If you are an intermediate student wanting to learn and practice more challenging poses, we invite you to join us with an open mind and heart as we share insights from the group and assist each other.
About Our Instructors
Yoga Fusion: This class is a fusion of flow yoga, strength excercises, breathwork & ending with a short meditation. Perform strength work with simple exercises using gliders, balls, bands or body weight.
Led by experienced Zen Buddhist practitioners,
this mindfulness meditation practice includes
sitting meditation and walking meditation. New
participants need to arrive at 7:15 for brief
instruction. We can provide cushions or you
may bring your own. Planning to attend or want
